Description:

• Develop new or improved products or processes and manage all aspects of the development process including resource planning and budgeting.
• Directs product develop and product quality improvement initiatives and supports field sales personnel and customers, including resolving product quality complaints.
• Reports directly to the Mill Manager and has responsibility for approximately 6 quality technicians.
• Works closely with 3 Paper Machine Managers to support day-to-day operations and developing long term improvement strategies to drive results in all aspects of the business.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 8-10 years plus in the Paper Industry

• Paper Science or Chemical Engineering degree preferred

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• SAP experience is a plus

• ParcView/Pi experience is a plus

• Good interpersonal skills; ability to positively influence people

• Good organizational skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
